The Repeal of Internet Neutrality

Imagine seeing your favorite internet business or blogger erased from the search bar. Seeing an online community in which only internet providers like Comcast can broadcast their shows and content. Sounds wild right?

Not really. The right to have freedom of media and what you can post is soon to be restricted as Internet Neutrality has been repealed as of this year. Net Neutrality allowed anyone to post content without it being slowed down by internet providers. This helped keep the internet unbiased and balanced. Now that right has be taken away.

Internet Providers can now slow down browsing sessions, and prevent certain websites from appearing in your search engine. Internet prices may shoot up and soon individuals would have to start paying for platforms like Youtube, Twitter, Netflix and others. This is down in favor of stopping competition for internet providers. Those affected will be online businesses, Youtube platforms and even bloggers.

This is not just an attack on free speech and the freedom to post content, but an attack on the right to certain information and a window to the rest of the world.

Many people have found and learned about God (From the Bible) on their internet travels along with many other educational videos that focus on health and fact checking when the TV broadcasts attempt to publish a dishonest narrative.

As internet providers will take priority in what get seen, new websites will be harder to find.

These changes will likely take time before enaction, but changes definitely will be made on how and what is able to be viewed over the internet. Internet users can enjoy what they can of the many free websites before internet prices go up and or numerous amounts of content are slowed down in favor of competition or blocked from viewing.

The future of the internet seems to be changing to slash competition, but there are many petitions circulating and legislators who can be contacted to keep internet neutrality measures.

Hope in Times of Trouble Is God Really There for You?

Sky Peace

We live in a troubled world where corruption, abuse, poverty and starvation runs rampant. What is worse is that many of us come under attack from evil influences of esoteric (spiritual) beings that are the opposite of God and holiness.

Descriptions on the character of God, Jesus, angels (God’s messengers) and demons (evil spirits) can be found throughout the Holy Bible, an ancient text inspired by God Himself. It contains history and prophecies which are still being fulfilled today.

God is the Creator of the earth, animals and humans Genesis 1:1, 1:27. However, man became sinful due to disobedience to God and has since been trapped within the loop of sin which is transgression against God. Sin brings forth all manner of evil including murder, theft, lies, unjust hatred and mischief among others and can end in untimely death.

This makes us unacceptable in the eyes of God… but something changed. He sent His only Son to die on the cross for the sins of humanity and those who would accept Him and follow His will for their lives. John 3:16 which reads, For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son so that whosoever shall believe in Him shall not perish, but have everlasting life. This offer for ever lasting salvation and peace can be found in the Son of God whose name is Jesus Christ who is sometimes called Yahuah or Yeshua – two Hebraic variations of his name.

This means that God has given humans the chance for salvation so that any who believe in Him can have everlasting life in Heaven with Him when they pass away on earth. By nature, if we do not accept Jesus our place of rest after death is eternal torment in the lake of fire for sin of if we have not repented as stated in Rev. 20:10.

Repentance means to turn fully away from a sin, transgression or evil. This means that whatever it may be whether unjust racism, unprovoked violence, hatred and evil actions towards others – it must be stopped within a person’s life. Humans must also ask God for help in their walk with Him in Jesus name.  This is important because there are evil spirits that try to encourage us to do wrong just as God’s messengers try to lead us down the right path.

Humans have a adversary that can’t be seen that encourages them to be evil and tries to possess their bodies to put them at odds with God thus dwindling their chances of getting into heaven. This can be observed in 1 Peter 5:8 which reads Be sober, be vigilant; because your enemy the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour.

Time is growing short, Jesus, who was sacrificed and rose again on the third day for our sins, will return to redeem his people. Those who have not accepted him will perish. Christ’s name has the power to cast out evil spirits and also to save people and cleanse them of their sins. Please do not wait until it is too late. Eternal salvation can be achieved through acknowledging your sins and praying to God in Jesus name for forgiveness and that He will come into your life.
